BloodStop: An Ideal Tool for Extractions or Perio Surgery?

bloodstop
Dr. Leach asks us: I have heard about this new hemostatic BloodStop. It is supposed to be the fastest acting hemostatic agent. Just insert it into the socket and the bleeding stops.

I have many patients on coumadin, aspirin or other anticoagulants. I was thinking of doing more extractions and maybe
some perio surgery if this product is as good as is claimed. In the past I have used other anticoagulants, but I have to sit there and hold gauze over the socket and apply pressure for some time. Has anybody used BloodStop on patients who are on anticoagulants? What are your thoughts?
