Minimal Zone of Attached Gingival: Recession Following Laser Surgery?

I have seen many comments on this site about how fast and easy it is to use a laser to trough the tissue around the finish line. My question is what happens if you have a minimal zone of attached gingival. Will there be any recession following laser surgery?
