Safety Irrigator from Vista Dental


Another micro-evacuation and irrigation system has been unveiled, the Safety-Irrigator from Vista Dental. Its main advantages are that it can operated by your assistant using one hand and it only costs $2. We have not used any of these micro-evacuation and irrigation units so we really are not even sure if they work. But this one looks simple and is cheap.

According to the company:

The Safety-Irrigatorsafety-irrigator.jpg features a large coronal evacuation tube, enabling the user to safely irrigate and evacuate simulatenously. It fits any standard luer-lock syringe. Designed to limit risk of NaOCl accidents, this “negative-pressure” Endo irrigation device comes fully assembled and fitted with side-vented irrigating needle for added safety.
