Revois: The All-in-One Implant System
Any thoughts on Curasan’s new REVOIS® All-in-One Dental Implant System, which recently received FDA clearance?
The system appears to offer several new innovations.
As the company states:
“The REVOIS® All-in-One System is a self-contained, intelligent modular system. All components are coordinated to achieve maximum precision with a minimum number of parts.
One important part of it is the multifunctional precision abutment. This universal abutment fits all diameters, thus one single prosthetic line can be used for all REVOIS® implants.“
Additional Features, include:
- *Innovative Snap-on System with matching Snap-on Tool - for maximum precision
- *Special angled abutment - 45°
- *More bone and soft tissue growth by platform-switching and special abutment design
- *High primary stability by progressive thread merging into a fine thread
- * Functional, well thought-out implant design: rounded apex and conical shape, micro and nano roughness of surface and tapered drills especially aligned to the REVOIS® implant - for a minimal-invasive insertion with maximum osseointegration.

Got something to say?

I am so far a happy user of Revois,
by coincidence happened to be present during the release of the system in Baden Baden germany 2006 during an icoi meeting.
the designer of the system adi palti is one of the best and most experience designers in the world, being one of the top designers of stoma.
the system has a very agressive platform switch, the implant itself is great and the surgical sequence is the easiest and most precise i have used so far, personally, i think that surgically no system comes close, we have about 15 systems in our practice (top brands).
Prostetically, the abutment is excellent with a well thought design that provides a double antirotational strong bevel for the crown.
the microgap is pretty much none, we put it in the microscope and it was just incredible.
the mind frame of the restorative dentist and technician has to change a little bit in this system due to the emergence profile and platform provided by the norrow neck at the base of the abutment, the facial area in the abutment needs to be prepped deeper than the rest of the abutment for a most cosmetic emergence.
the implant body and platform has to be submerged deeper to obtain the advantages of the platform switch.
i am extremely comfortable with the system.
during impression with the enclosed plastic clip, it is important to double check cilp and antirotation or the impression wioll be off.
