Planning is certainly a key component of any successful treatment protocol. In this video, you’ll get a glimpse into Dr. Simon’s planning process, as he and Dr. Rosenberg, plans an implant in an upper molar position. In this particular case, there is obvious sinus proximity and the ridge is very resorbed. Can the case be done? Is it too much of a compromise without additional grafting? He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada in the specialty of periodontics. Dr. Simon teaches at the University of Southern California and lectures nationally and internationally on esthetic soft tissue procedures, computer guided implant surgery and tissue reconstruction.
