Which of 3 different fixture removal screws should I use for removing failed implants? Are the different fixture screws indicated for different size implants?
The implant removal kit now comes with 3 (three) different fixture remover screws. The fixture remover screws are available in small, medium, and large sizes. The small fixture removal screw is indicated for 3mm-4mm diameter implants, the medium screw indicated for 4mm - 5mm diameter implants, and the larger screw is indicated for 5mm - 8mm diameter implants. Although, you can use the small sized screw to remove large diameter implants (the screw will engage the implant), it may be difficult to disengage the implant from the screw after removal, when using a smaller screw for a larger implant.
Will the fixture remover screws work with a variety of implant diameters?
Yes, the fixure remover screws are both tapered shaped and reverse threaded. This special design will allow the fixture remover screws to "grab" virtually any size diameter implant for easy removal.

With the implant fixture removal kit, how many times can I use each fixture remover screw?
The removal screws are designed to use up to 3 times each. For existing customer who have already purchased the kit, replacement screws can be ordered separately. In rare circumstances, a screw may break during removal for many possible reasons, including a poor angle of insertion, a wrong size screw, and/or too much torque.
