Are IOS Straumann Denture Retention Abutments compatible with Straumann Locator or Kerator parts?
Yes all DALI and IOS Straumann Denture Retention Attachment parts are fully compatible with Straumann Locator ® and Kerator ® attachment systems.
What is the angulation of Kerator IOS angled attachments?
The angulation of the Angled Kerator IOS attachments is 15 degrees. The tissue heights for the angled attachments are either 1.5mm or 3.0mm. Angled overdenture abutment comes with a screw that requires 1.25mm hex driver. The torque value is 25 Ncm.
Does your Kerator Straumann Overdenture Abutment work with the Straumann BLX System?
No. The Kerator Straumann Overdenture abutment for Bone Level Implants is indicated only for the Standard Straumann Bone Level (BL) implants with the CrossFit Connection. It is not indicated for the Straumann Bone Level X (BLX) Implant system, which uses the TorcFit connection. Parts for the CrossFit Connection and TorcFit connection are not compatible.

IMPORTANT: These attachments ONLY work with the Straumann Cross Fit Connection.
The Straumann® CrossFit® connection is an internal prosthetic connection. It features a self-guiding design with a 15-degree internal cone and four internal grooves that ensure high mechanical stability, anti-rotation protection, and an exact fit between the implant and the abutment.
• Narrow CrossFit (NC): Used for implants with a 3.3 mm endosteal diameter, typically color-coded yellow.
• Regular CrossFit (RC): Used for larger diameters (4.1 mm and 4.8 mm), sharing the same prosthetic components and color-coded magenta.
The DALI Denture Retention Attachment (DRA) system works in the same way as Locator implants.
